El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico is currently not closed.

However, closures of the forest related to weather or other reasons are always possible, especially during tropical storms season. In addition, specific attractions or areas in the forest may be closed for restoration (or due to weather).

Currently El Yunque National Forest is open daily year-round other than on Christmas Day.

El Portal de El Yunque Visitor Center is currently open daily, other than on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Three Kings Day (January 6).
